Social Programme :
After the Closing Session and lunch, a half day tour of Antalya will start. The highlights on this four-hour tour are visits to Hadrian's Gate, the Clock Tower at Kalekapisi, Republic Square with its dramatic statue and excellent views of the Mediterranean coast and the distant Olimpos Mountains. Descending from the square, you explore the narrow, winding streets of historic Old Antalya (Kaleiçi), filled with graceful Ottoman-era houses and gardens. Last stop is the fine, Antalya Archaeological Museum where Antalya's several thousand years of history is laid out before you in chronological order.

06 NOVEMBER 2010, SATURDAY Social Programme: Perge - Aspendus - Side Tour In the morning we drive to Perge whose history dates back to 1000 B.C. Saint Paul and Saint Barnabas stayed and preached in the city during their journey through Asia Minor. 
In Perge we will visit Theatre, the Roman Stadium, the Hellenistic Gate, Baths, Basilica and the Acropolis. We continue driving to Aspendus and visit the Theatre which is spectacularly well-preserved theatre is one of the best examples of Roman theatre construction in the world.

Driving south we will reach Side which used to be a well-known slave market. We will visit the Hellenistic Wall, the Theatre, the Temple of Tyche, Agora, Basilicas, Baths, the Aquaduct and the Museum. |
